1) Bill Clinton sexually harassed Paula Jones and settled the matter out of court. It wasn’t until the appeal that the whole Lewinsky scandal came to light.
2) Clinton was impeached for lying while under oath about his affair, not for the affair itself.
3) Impeachment is not actually losing the job of the presidency. It’s simply a way of Congress saying “fuck you.”
